The Hideout is a brand-new studio attached to the barn at God's Country Ranch in the heart of beautiful East Tennessee. It is a real farm stay and you may see Highland cattle inches from the window as you enjoy your breakfast. It is private, peaceful, and comfortable, set beside a tranquil stream, with large windows that look up the hill to where the herd roams.
Sit on the patio with your coffee and watch the herd graze on the rolling pastures. You may also witness farming activities during your stay. Light the firepit at dusk — firewood, kindling, and lighter supplied. And spend as much time as you like with the resident Valais Blacknose lambs and bunnies, whose enclosure you are free to visit throughout your stay.

"God's Country Ranch is a gem! This ranch house sits nicely in the woods near a small creek and the farm animals. If you like being in nature with God's creations close by, this is the place for you. The house is maintained and kept very nice! We enjoyed our mornings sitting on the deck, drinking coffee and listening to the peaceful creek. At times the highland cows visited us just across the creek as we enjoyed the evening sunset. This is a perfect stay if you are a local just wanting to get into the mountains or someone visiting the Smoky Mountains needing a place to stay. The hosts Jenni and Tony were very accommodating and went out of their way to write a birthday card and leave a bottle of wine for my wife's birthday.
